My Favorite Mindset & Productivity Books

Boundaries
Paperback

Setting boundaries is so important!  This book helps you learn how to decide when to say yes and how to say no.  It can help you take control of your life and set healthy, biblical boundaries with everyone around you–and even with yourself.

Boundaries
Workbook

This companion workbook provides the support & Scripture you need to help others respect your boundaries.  Use it to help improve your work-life balance or to practice saying no when someone asks you to commit to one more activity.

Cleaning Up Your
Mental Mess

This book help decide on a goal and create a specific plan to achieve it.  As the title says, it has helped me “get more done in 12 weeks” than I ever have before.  It’s a game-changer if you want to increase your productivity in a sustainable way!

Getting Things
Done (GTD)

Getting Things Done is the ultimate book on business and personal organization. “GTD” is a way of approaching professional and personal tasks and of actually getting things done.  I have not mastered this system…YET.  I love that it can be applied to the workplace, the home, or to a side business.

The Miracle
Morning

Starting the day with the Miracle Morning has been AMAZING!  I love that I can tailor it to my season of life.  If I’m short on time I do a shorter routine.  When I have more time, I extend it.  This book will help you create a morning routine that will make a HUGE difference in your productivity, motivation, and focus!

Eat that
Frog!

I can sometimes procrastinate.  With the help of this book I’ve been able to create small changes that help me to take consistent action.  Eat that Frog! can help you to focus on your “frogs” (most critical tasks), so you can accomplish them efficiently and effectively. It’s a quick read that’s broken down by strategy.

My Favorite Cookbooks: AIP, Paleo, and Real Food

He Won't Know it's Paleo

These recipes are quite impressive. This cookbook got its name because the author was able to make only paleo autoimmune protocol meals for six months before telling her husband, that he’d been eating gluten-free, dairy-free, grain-free foods all that time!  This cookbook is a keeper!

The Paleo Approach

The Paleo Approach:  Reverse Autoimmune Disease and Heal Your Body was my first AIP book purchase.  I relied heavily on it.  It taught me all about the WHEN, WHY, and HOW of AIP.  It’s not a cookbook.  It focuses on all aspects of the AIP lifestyle, not just food. Game changer!

The Healing Kitchen

This cookbook has over 175 recipes that are budget-friendly, quick and easy.  I like that they are made with typical ingredients you’d have in your kitchen.  There are some meal plans to help you get started, which is really nice.  I love the Baked Carrot-Banana Bread N’Oatmeal, Monkey Bars, and Sweet Potato Ice Cream.  Yum!

Nourish: The Paleo Healing Cookbook

The recipes in this book are yummy! Following the Paleo Autoimmune Protocol can reduce inflammation and ease autoimmune symptoms, but sometimes it’s hard to find yummy recipes. This book has simple, nutrient-dense recipes that taste really good! Some of my favorites are Carrot & Parsnip Salad, Garlic-Lovers Roasted Beets, and German Potato Salad with Bacon and Herbs (made with white sweet potatoes-MMMMM!).

100 Days of
Real Food

The recipes in this cookbook are all made from REAL FOOD, not processed junk.  I like this cookbook so much I’ve given it as gifts over the years.  My favorites are The Best Whole Chicken in the Slow Cooker, Overnight Chicken Stock in the Slow Cooker, and Slow-Cooker Potato Soup. *This cookbook is not AIP, Paleo, dairy-free, or gluten-free.  Some of the recipes are naturally gluten-free, and I have been able to adapt a number of others.

100 Days of Real Food: fast & fabulous

Like the original cookbook, this cookbook contains REAL FOOD recipes.  I really like that these recipes are fast and easy…and really tasty!  I’ve also given this cookbook as gifts over the years.  Some of my favorite recipes are Tzatziki Sauce, Real-Food Sloppy Joes, and Caprese Pasta Salad.   *This cookbook is not AIP, Paleo, dairy-free, or gluten-free.  Some of the recipes are naturally gluten-free, and I have been able to adapt a number of others.
